BY CAR
IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE WEST

Take the Long Island Expressway to EXIT #51 NORTH which is Route #231 also known as DEER PARK ROAD.

OR Take the Northern State Parkway to EXIT #42 NORTH
This is also DEER PARK ROAD - you are just getting on it a couple miles farther North.

Just North of the Northern State Parkway there is a fork in the road - BARE RIGHT AT THE FORK. You are now on DEER PARK ROAD EAST. Get into the left lane.

Go about 1 mile until Deer Park Road East MERGES into JERICHO TURNPIKE East bound (Route #25).

Once you are on Jericho Turnpike immidiately get into the LEFT LANE.

At the first light make a LEFT on to ELWOOD ROAD - there will be a turning lane with an arrow.

Stay on Elwood Road for about 5 miles. It will change its name to Resevour Ave. when you cross Fort Salonga Road (Rt 25A). Very shortly you will merge onto Church Street. Just keep going straight (down the hill).

Very soon you will come to MAIN STREET. Make a LEFT. Centerport Cycles is on the right side right across the street from the Post Office.

IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE EAST (BY CAR)

Get on the SAGTAKOS PARKWAY NORTH bound (towards Sunken Meadow State Park) from the Southern State Parkway or the Northern State Parkway or the Long Island Expressway.

Get off at the very LAST EXIT before the toll both. That is route 25A ( also known as Fort Salonga Road). You will be headed West. Go about four miles and make a RIGHT TURN on to MAIN STREET. There is a restaurant on that corner called Pumpernickels. Go about one mile. The shop is on the right side across the street from the post office.

BY TRAIN

Take the Long Island Rail Road to the East Northport station. That is on the Port Jefferson line. You may have to change trains at Jamaica and/or Huntington. Here is the schedule.

The L.I.R.R. allows bicycles on the train during off-peak hours, but you must have a pass. The pass costs $5. Here is the application

FROM THE EAST NORTHPORT TRAIN STATION

The station house is on the North side of the tracks. It is about two miles from the shop. The train staion is on BELLROSE AVE. Go West (left) on Bellrose to the light at CATHERINE ST. I guess it is about a quater of a mile. Make a right on Catherine St. When you cross Fort Salonga Road the name of Catherine St. changes to Church St. At the bottom of the hill make a left on MAIN ST. The shop is about a quarter mile on the right, directly across from the post office.
