LINKS TO SOME WEB SITES THAT I DIG

The Kreb Cycle - KEEPING BICYCLE RACING ALIVE ON LONG ISLAND! This is the site for a very cool shop in Bellport, N.Y. owned my by my pal Chris who is, in fact, keeping bike racing alive on Long Island.

Classic Rendezvous - is hosted by Dale Brown. Dale also the owner of the email list by the same name, as well as Cycles De Oro in Greensboro, N.C. If you dig vintage lightweights this is THE place.

Pacenti Cycle Design - Kirk Pacenti supplies investment cast lugs that are designed with enough extra material to allow the frame builder to carve them into all sorts of interesting shapes. Take a look at the Galley page.

Bike Cult - is the web site put up by Dave Perry for his Manhattan bike shop BIKE WORKS. Dave also wrote the book named "Bike Cult". This site has a ton of great stuff.

Taliah Lempert - is a great painter who's preferred subject is bicycles.

Huntington Bicycle Club - This is our local bike club.

Velo-Retro - Chuck Schmitt's web site for the vintage lightweight collector. Home of the Campagnolo time line. A source for catalogue reprints and cool t-shirts.

Surly Bicycles - I don't stock any bicycles or frames but I am happy to order them for you. This is a line of bikes that I am particularly fond of.

Bikelist.org - This is the host for the Classic Rendezvous email list plus a bunch of other interesting lists.

RaceListings.com - is a web site put up by my friend Charlie Issendorf, that covers the local racing scene. I particularly like the photos in his gallery under the heading "old school". Yeah, I know, I'm living in the past.

Vintage Bicycle Quarterly - This is a great publication for vintage lightweight enthusiasts.

The Freewheel Collective - This is a group of younger bicycle advocates who fix up salvaged bikes and give them away, give free bicycle repair classes and do what they can to get people out of cars.

The Horton Collection - This is a site that showcases a collection of racing bikes and related stuff by Brett Horton. I met Brett at Cirque '03. He is a really great guy and one of the world's leading collectors.
